If you were to look at foundation under a microscope, despite brand or price, you will find that most of them appear to resemble fish scales, appearing to interlock over each other preventing skin from breathing. Lycogel is different; Lycogel is a revolutionary product, using bioactive ingredients called Biodyne TRF- and ingredients that were first introduced in use with burn victims to encourage life in cells that were damaged. It oxygenates the skin by encouraging oxygen uptake. Whilst most foundations you buy are not going to do your skin any “harm” they also won’t do it any good, but using Lycogel will enhance and improve your skin. It also contains a sun protection factor to protect your skin from UV rays and sun damage.

Who is Suitable for Lycogel Foundation?

Lycogel was most commonly used in a cosmetic setting for post procedure use to encourage the skin to repair and reduce pain, and to camouflage, but Lycogel is suitable for all skin types, and we encourage it to be used as your regular foundations. It is of particular benefits to patients who suffer with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and acne, we recommend this due to the fact that it will not mask the skin and sit in areas that are damaged. Lycogel contains ingredients with therapeutic benefits, and the camouflage formulation of the product helps to cover and disguise the problems you may have. In time the triple silica and Lyco complex will also repair the skin too. It is also recommended as an anti-ageing foundation.
