Endolift®

Endolift® is a non-surgical laser treatment designed to tighten, lift, and contour the skin while reducing small pockets of fat. Using an ultra-fine laser fibre (as thin as a hair), the laser energy is gently delivered beneath the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen, remodel tissue, and melt unwanted fat — all without the need for incisions or general anaesthetic. It’s often described as a ‘laser facelift’, but with minimal downtime and natural-looking results.

How does Endolift® work?

The laser fibre is carefully inserted just under the skin using local anaesthetic. Once in place, it delivers precisely controlled energy to target water and fat within the tissues.
This heat triggers neo-collagenesis (new collagen formation) and causes the surrounding structures to contract — producing a firmer, more defined appearance over time. In some cases, the laser also performs selective lipolysis, helping to reduce small fat deposits under the chin, jawline, or body areas while tightening the skin above.

Which areas can be treated?

Endolift® can treat both the face and body. Popular areas include:

Face & Neck

  • Jawline and jowls
  • Under the chin and neck
  • Lower face laxity (‘turkey neck’)
  • Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
  • Around the mouth or eyes

Body

  • Abdomen and flanks
  • Upper arms (‘bingo wings’)
  • Inner thighs and knees
  • Hips and buttocks

It’s particularly effective for mild to moderate skin laxity and localised fat where surgery would be too invasive.

Who is a good candidate?

Endolift® suits men and women who have mild to moderate skin laxity, are in good overall health, and want a noticeable tightening and lifting without surgery. It’s not suitable if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, have open wounds or active skin conditions (such as eczema or psoriasis) in the treatment area, or if you’re on long-term anticoagulant therapy.

What happens during the treatment?

Your skin will be cleansed and numbed with local anaesthetic for comfort. A very fine fibre is then inserted beneath the skin, and controlled laser energy is delivered along precise lines to tighten and remodel the tissues. You may feel warmth and gentle tugging as the laser works, but most patients describe it as comfortable and well-tolerated. The procedure usually takes 45–90 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Is there any downtime?

There’s minimal downtime compared with surgical procedures. You may experience swelling, redness, or mild bruising for a few days, and in facial treatments you might need to wear a support band for 24–48 hours to help the tissues settle. Most people return to normal activities within 2–3 days, although full healing takes place over several weeks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I do before and after treatment?

Before:

• Avoid blood-thinning medication or supplements for one week (unless medically advised otherwise)
• Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet

After:

• Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, and hot baths for about a week
• Use a high-factor SPF daily
• Follow your doctor’s aftercare instructions carefully Mild swelling or tightness is expected — this settles as your skin heals.

When will I see results?

You’ll usually notice an immediate lifting effect from the initial collagen contraction. However, the true results develop gradually over the next 3–6 months as new collagen forms and the skin continues to tighten.

How long do results last?

Results typically last 3–5 years, depending on age, skin quality, and lifestyle. While Endolift® doesn’t stop ageing, it resets the clock, giving you firmer, more youthful skin for several years. Occasional maintenance treatments can extend results even further.

How many sessions will I need?

Most patients only require one Endolift® session. In some cases, a top-up treatment after 6–12 months may be recommended for further refinement.

How much does Endolift® cost?

The cost varies depending on the area being treated and the extent of correction required. As a guide, treatments typically start from around €2,500 per session. A consultation will determine your personalised plan and exact quote.

How old should you be for Endolift®?

There’s no strict age limit, but most patients are in their 30s to 60s, when early to moderate sagging or volume loss starts to appear. Younger patients may choose Endolift® preventatively to strengthen collagen and slow early laxity.

Is there any risk of nerve injury?

Nerve injury is extremely rare when performed by an experienced doctor. You may experience temporary numbness or reduced sensation for a few days in treated areas, which settles as the tissue heals. Your practitioner will use precise mapping and fibre placement to ensure safety.
